Anyone know some of the better colors around rip rap there at this time of the year?

Sexy shad or chartreuse sexy shad have always been pretty good my buddy had 22 lbs on the Alabama rig this past weekend I would also try a single swim bait he caught his slow rolling pretty deep

Thanks concreteman...what do you think the best crawdad color would be right now? I'm not going to do the Bama rig thing, nothing against those who do but looks like a lot of heavy trouble too me.

Me neither I do like the single swim baits but I think you'll find Dave Stewart helpful I would think red and Orange crawdad would be good. Good luck to you

A friend of mine was there this past weekend and caught them on shad and crawfish patterns.

A good night time crankbait color for Kentucky & Barkley is black with red glitter amd it works good all year long.

Hard to beat a shadrap this time of year...original crawdad pattern and the custom painted shadrap by Bag5 lures in orginal crawdad pattern. Shad colors are black/silver in shadrap and Bag 5 custom painted shadrap in rootbeer.
