Dale Hollow Water Temps

Has anyone been out the last couple of days on Dale? Headed down next weekend and beginning to think I shouldve waited an extra week to let the water warm a bit more.

skeeter, i fished last monday 3/4/13 the water temp in morning was 45 it warmed up to 47 at the end of the day.
i think next weekend could be a perfect storm for bass fishing. were going to have several more sunny days by then
and the water temp should be 50 or slightly higher.
if your looking for largemouth head 2/3rds the way up the creeks and look for rock walls with sun on them they should be there. wiggle wart , jerk bait , a rig, jig. good luck hope this helps

Thanks for the info. I'll be hunting the brown fish. We have been down there the same time the last 3 years and it's been on like Donkey Kong. Hope the temps get up near 52-55 by the time we roll in.
