To make a comeback to what it was before the drawdown ??? We used to have a ball fishing it at night from March until around the first of October. To me it hasn't seemed right since the drawdown. Especially with the weather we've had the last few years. Floods in spring & droughts in summer. I know I've saw Bass locked on beds in spring only to return 2 to 3 weeks later & there wasn't any water anywhere near where they were bedded so I would think it really made for poor spawns. What does anyone else think ??? How many years if normal weather before it comes back pretty good ??? Any fisheries biologists opinion appreciated.
It all depends on the weather in my oppion. If they hold the lake up 10-20 feet this yeah the largemouth will have places to spawn because of all the new brush. If mother nature will let them spawn for a couple years in a row then within 3 years you should see a nice increase in fishing. It is all up to mother nature and we know how hatefull she can be.
