With most waters being dirty right now, fluctuating water levels, and temps in the mid to upper 40's, do you spend time trying patterns or just cover water looking for miscellaneous fish?

I think it depends on the lake you are fishing. If it is a good lake with alot of fish then you find a pattern. However there are no good lakes where I live so you had better cover some water and go junk fishing if you want to catch anything.
Amen.. Same where I live pretty much. There not enough fish to develop a pattern.
