So, people ask why we need to be involved in the mess going on in the middle east.....Here is my take:

Israel gets intelligence info that Syrian delivery systems are headed to Hezbollah in Lebanon, so they bomb the **** out of Syria. GREAT, FANTASTIC. I think that is what should be happening.

Now a little what if......What if Israel doesn't get that piece of information, and Hezbollah gets the weapons and starts to rain deadly Sarin gas down on Israel....killing thousands......tens of thousands.

Now what? Israel takes off the gloves, and escalates........SIGNIFICANTLY. They NUKE Hezbollah......NOW WHAT.

You guys here simply think these problems will simply go away. My take on this is that we need to be involved, more than ever before. The world is not a very stable place right now, and our lack of leadership is not helping things.

I hope I'm wrong, and I HOPE things don't escalate......But the way I see things, stuff in the middle east sure looks pretty SHITTY right now.
