Can anyone tell me why Grayson lake stinks as a bass fishery? I fished a tourney there this past weekend and it was the least amount of fish I ever seen weighed in, not including hearsay about low weights of the local tourneys from the same weekend. It is a beautiful lake and looks like it would be a great bass lake.
Lack of vegetation is probably the biggest issue. The lake holds good fish, however you have to be able to confidently fish in 30 feet of water to catch them. Up the river in deep water or all the way to the head is where I have had the most luck. Again I still believe it's a lack of vegetation issue.
