    Brookville lake

Heading up to brookville next week to do a little fishin and was wondering if you all had any tips or pointers. Never been up there before, how's the fishing? Probably targeting cats and panfish the most, might do a little bass fishing.
    Any help is much appreciated.
    Thanks all.

Cool Information Is Hard To get for Brookville.

If your going thru Brookville you can stop at the Marathon 52 Pickup , Tag the Guide on Brookville has a board with his reports on the days he fishes. He will tell how or what he caught fish on.

I am going there Wednesday, I'm from Ky but this lake is close, have been twice and no really good fishing yet.

We will fish for Crappie and Walleye, Tag said most all fish have spawned but a lot of them still have eggs. I'm not much help but I try to share. Kentucky Board is much more active and helpful.
I'm due a good day on the lake so will it be this week ?

The only areas that I've any luck there is Gar Hill, Fairfeild ramp to the marina and the banks around the dam. Crankbaits ,Jigs and whacky worms usually work well.

I find it easier to call the DNR. They will get back to you and give you good information.
