Ohio River

OK I'm stuck fishing the river for awhile..Ive been doing ok in harrods creek but want to try some other spots...any suggestions ? largemouth..smallmouth...stripers...

I haven't been to the river in a couple of weeks but the stripers may be starting to get ready at the hydros.

I'm in the same boat. Its the closest place for me to go. Harrods is ok. If you can put in at westport, 18 mile creek isn't bad or the point of 18 mile island and the inside channel of the island in the mornings is alright. Also, right across the river from the ramp in westport on the IN side, I've had some luck catching smallmouth on those rocks in the AM. Other than that, that's all i know haha. Good luck

I have had good fishing in 14 mile creek. plastics on the laydowns seems to produce for me. I go in to the bridge and fish about 200 yards on either side.

Thanks guys...looks like I need to make a run...about how far of a ride is 14 mile creek from Duffy's

I'd guess Six Mile Island is about one mile from Duffy's Landing so 14 mile creek is another 8 miles up.
