Tville Guist Creek or Cedar Creek?

Thinking about hitting one of these three lakes up this weekend...anyone with any info on conditions or activity would be greatly appreciated. ...

I hear Tville is up and muddy, fished guist last weekend and caught some nice fish on crankbaits and plastics, my buddy said he is catching bass on anything at cedar but big ones have moved out and eating jigs or brush hogs. Good luck

Avoid Tville. Water conditions aren't great and there's a algae bloom going on that's potentially harmful

    Taylorsville alge bloom

Like kingfisher said the alge bloom test was positive this month. Which means you probably would want to fish somewhere else if your planning on keeping your fish. I personally would fish at any lake other than t'vill. I've heard they might have to shut down the lake if it gets worse. Wherever you go good luck! Hope this helped!-drew

I truly don't understand. What does the algae bloom do the quality of the fish?

Most illness associated with HAB exposure is the result of consuming toxins that are present in fish. There's lots of info on the Internet you can check out to understand a little better.

Colbyt, it's not that it's hurting the fish necessarily but if you eat or handle the fish that are around it it will affect you. I'm not sure about if it hurts the fish but I would think so because it can hurt people
