What crank baits techniques and bait set ups are working the best on river channel related ledges on Barkley & Kentucky?
What colors and models of crankbaits is everybody having the most luck with?
What are you doing to get your crank baits down deep for the longest periods of time?
Are there any special bait modifications or tricks being used?

Never saw one before. Looks kinda like a bottom bouncer. I have used a three way swivel with casting sinker tied onto the end of the dropper line. I've also used another crankbait or a weedless grub tied onto the end of the dropper line. Both rigs will catch fish but about everything that bites them will be small. Your depth finder can usually "see" the thermocline this time of the year. Probably not much need in going deeper than the thermocline, there's not enough O-2 down there. Using this data which is available for most lakes, http://lrl-apps.lrl.usace.army.mil/wc/wq/grrtext.html , it's relatively easy to tell where the thermocline is at. Since bass require around 5mg/L of oxygen to survive long term it stands to reason that the deepest you need to be fishing on GRL is somewhere between 10 to 15 feet.
