    Dale Hollow this winter

Like I've done for the past 7-8 years, I will be spending early winter at Dale Hollow.

I've been fortunate to work for a company that allows me to work from anywhere, so In 3 weeks, I will head to Dale Hollow, Holly Creek area and rent a cabin until Jan 5th or so.

I will fish EVERY DAY if possible, at least for a few hours, and take every Thursday and Friday off to pound on the smallies and greenfish every weekend.

    I am PUMPED.

I have about 30 different friends coming at various times, so I won't be alone very much.

Good food, GREAT fun, and usually some pretty good FnF and Jig fishing.

I only miss the fact that my good friend Elwood cannot share the experiences with me .

    I'm excited......

Have a good time George, we stayed in a cabin up on the hill to the right as you are going down to the marina. Nice place with plenty of room. Have one for Woody and catch abunch. Chuck

    Day 1, starts today.

I'm up had my coffee, and am ready to hit the lake.

5:19am CST..........still dark, but headed to the water.

Wish me luck............I don't have any FNF stuff rigged, so I will be jiggin this morning, but I will be bringing the fly stuff back to the room and getting it ready.

Water temps last night in Hendricks when I put the boat in was 58 degrees........

    Nice.

I'm not retired......yet. . BUT I'm very fortunate to be in an industry where I can work from anywhere, and I work for a company that UNDERSTANDS, that if I get my job done, who cares if I go out and fish 3 hours in the morning........EVERY morning.

    I am blessed.......

A buddy of mine ordered a 60k boat in January.........Got it in June. Fished a couple months, and it is back at the factory.

Lots of **** being built right now...........I don't know I'd own a new one, IMHO.

It is an awesome boat though, just a lot of nickel and dime stuff that you should NEVER have to fix on a 60k anything.
