OMG, what a great piece of machinery............

That trolling motor must be the best thing since apple pie. Very, very NICE.

It will be a game changer, if you ask me.

    Later,

    Geo

It is UNREAL how much you spend controlling the boat.......I deliberately tried to use a few of the cool features today, and I can tell you FLAT OUT..........those features will make this a game changer......at least it will for me.

    Nice toy.

Those are nice to have. does it allow you to follow the contours on a topo map? If you use the Humminbirds with the map technology and the MinnKota trolling motors that can use the Lakemaster maps to follow the drops then it's going to increase you fishing time on the ledges and keep you in better position to make more casts etc.

And if you were to accidently fall out of the boat the boat wills stay in the same area if you use spot lock feature. Just make sure that you don't let the trolling motor run you over while in the water. Because the trolling motor won't know you are not in the water and will turn of and go faster or slow to maintain the boat's position.

I didn't buy the i-link......but the autopilot where you point down the bank works pretty nice .

My first TM on this boat had the auto pilot but the **** motor actuator was horrible, so I pulled that thing off and sold it here to RAPorter, I think......

used the money to buy a Maxxum that I've had for 11 years........

I hope I will get used to the noise this new Ultrex puts out. It isn't too bad, but is definitely a little noisy. If it doesn't effect the fish though, I'm definitely DOWN, because it is a game changer.

It is noisy above the water. There was someone who tested it out with camera under the water near the boat and it was just a tad louder than his fortrex he had. Once you get used to it its less noticeable and its easier to steer a little softer.
