The river has been up and down recently but I want to warn boaters about launching at New Albany.
It used to be best to launch closer to the Indiana shore. NOT ANY MORE!! There is a piece of concrete I-beam road barrier thing close to the Indiana side of the ramp. There is a big pile of rocks on the river side. At a lower level of around 12.4 ft. both are difficult to see.
LAUNCH FROM THE CENTER OF THE RAMP and you will be fine.
