Cat fishing

I was wondering how people find catfish on lakes like rough and nolin I love to catfish and plus I don't have the best fish finder also.

Other than jugs trot lines and limb lines I've only caught them fishing for bass bluegill and crappie. Now I catch them at sandy beach all of the time while I'm killing time in the middle of the day but that's it.
