The folks who like gubment control love the notion of obamacare it's that simple. To them it's about being fair to every little kid or poor person in America with no sincere regard to the actual facts of what is about to happen. No regard to stupid decisions that got some people in the situation they are in, no regard to the actual problems in our healthcare system and no regard to what may happen to the country once the gubment runs our healthcare system.

One would think that history would prove to them that gubment subsidized programs such as obamacare are doomed to be inefficient, corrupt and expensive for the actual people who will fund it (tax payers). It's just a game to them that obamacare exists, it's shortsighted greedy thinking by people that the Liberals preyed upon to get their way in Washington. So here we are now as a country we have been sold out by the master salesman who was the last piece in the puzzle for this master plan by the Libs.

Gubment run healthcare.....this is scary. 99% of me says its a train wreck and just a matter of time before the Knuckleheads who actually wanted this wake up. 1% of me says ok maybe the increased taxes on me will be offset by less monthly cost on an actual healthcare plan and better service but they just doesn't sound right or make sense. Ohhh that's right it obamacare wasn't for me because I work my ass off and pay my bills and do without when needed, make sound decisions on my finances and don't live like an idiot. This was about part time workers and little children and all the people without healthcare who were already getting healthcare anyway for free if they needed it. This is why 99% of me says its a train wreck.....it seems to be nothing more than a HUGE gubment plan to control a large piece of the economy under the disguise of "I'm here to help" and I honestly believe they played all the bleeding heart liberals and independents who can't think past their own party affiliation or can't think for themselves to get this implemented. I guess only time will tell whose right but again look at the history of how inefficient veteran hospitals are, social security, educational system and the postal service is and we are to believe this is different????

One question..............ARE you happy with paying over $6000.00 dollars per two parent household making 50k or less?

How many families are we talking about? Estimates are anywhere between 20 and 40 million. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize we are talking a **** ton more money that Obama or the Obamunists every thought about.

And GUYS......this is only the "premiums" for the coverage. This doesn't include the outlay of cash the GUBMENT will be spending on health care once this gets going. YOU Actually thing INSURANCE companies are going to underwrite these plans............HELL NO. They are underwritten and backed by the GUBMENT.

I can't remember WW11 but I can remember back a long way, and everyone in this country has a healthier and a easier life now, than they did 50 plus years ago. you can read about it, you can hear talk from older folks about a rough life, but I've lived through it, my younger years was very rough. I got a job at an early age making more money than most folks, and I have had a good life, but the hard time memories, will always be in my heart, and I think thats the reason, I can't stand seeing people having a hard time. I think people down on their luck, need a helping hand, and if the Government is the helping hand. so be it, in the long run of life,what the Government gives to a poor family, they will end up paying the Government back many times over, as the small children grow up, start working and paying taxes.

Agree... I think the "good ol days" is just a nostalgic trip for a lot of people, we live better now than we ever did... Even the super rich live better.

You're RIGHT in some cases. but instead of a hand up, we've created a society of LOSERS that will never work. NEVER, NOT ONE DAY.

I can take you to Western Louisville, Western Indianapolis, South Chicago (If I had an army to protect me), and about 100 other big city INDOCTRINATED areas where those folks will never, EVER work, yet they will **** the tit of gubment until there is no tit left.

No doubt that's the difference in how we look at a general question or statement. I see the leeches, losers and abusers of the system and you see the actual good that can be done with helping legit people down on their luck. I don't want to see small children hungry or being born to crackheads but it happens regardless of how I feel.

I have helped and continue to help when I see an opportunity that isn't wasted on an alcoholic or drug head. This is along the same line of questions I had for a leader on my small group at church one year....I was against tithing because of all the corruption in churches and I thought we were wasting our resources sending mission groups to third world countries while we had problems right here in Lexington, central Ky. and the entire state of Ky.. I was told you are giving to God not the church and its up to the church to be good stewards of Gods money....ok I can accept that but I will not just give money to people who abuse the system. It's sukks that my taxes are doing just that and of course some goodness as well. I just hate the way we as a country continue to build a large base of people who want assistance and knowing that a big portion of that is abuse.
