I'm curious as to if anyone of you all pays a subscription to read your local newspaper online?
I stopped taking the news paper many years ago and only read it online now. But starting next Tuesday the paper will start charging a subscription fee to access the news paper online. I'm not sure it will be worth the money or not. Right now I'm leaning heavily towards the NOT.

I would not pay the communist urinal anything what so ever. In 5 years that paper will be gone.
My neighbor has the Courier-Journal delivered so I use his on-line account.
Not me. Never will either. What does something like that cost anyway?I'm curious as to if anyone of you all pays a subscription to read your local newspaper online?

Most papers give you an online subscription if you get the paper delivered. I do that with the Frankfort State-Urinal. I'd never pay for online alone.
Sometime last year, the two "papers" that I occasionally read said that they were going to start charging for access if you looked at more than X number of stories per month (don't remember the number, but think it was 5). I haven't noticed any changes whatsoever. One of them is the Herald-Leader.I'm curious as to if anyone of you all pays a subscription to read your local newspaper online?

I wouldn't pay the fees. I subscribe to the various twitter feeds from those news sources and if there's a story that I would actually want to read more than the headline, I'm sure I can find it covered by someone else.

It is owned by cnn and you select your own interests. They use some very sophisticated algorithms. Not sure if I spell that and exactly what kind of equation that is but they must something to it. Wish my depth finder had a fancy fish catchin algorithm.
