Takin the lady to Green River...

Taking my girl out to Green River Lake this weekend to camp and fish. I've only been on the lake a couple days one weekend in the spring...any advice? I'd like to get her on some fish and I'm bringing my musky gear too!! I'll have a boat so I can run around some. Any help is much appreciated, for bass and musky! Thanks all!

I'd forget everything I knew about grl if I'd learned it in the spring. We were out yesterday and we caught several small ones in the coves. Everything on spinnerbaits or wacky worms. It's just amazing how long a bass will hold onto a wacky worm. Water temp was in the mid to low 70's everywhere. Wildlife was everywhere and very few people. Whether you catch any fish or not you should have a great time.

Still catching some fish on the main lake summertime stuff, just not much size. Had some good days last week shallow on the main lake and in creeks but that bite shut down this weekend. If you want musky idle a far back in a creek as you can and keep going. I had 2 over 40" this weekend flipping back in a creek. Had 2 more on. Robinson creek is full of em and you can always find some in wilson creek

I was out there this weekend and its still tough with the lake turning over. I was crappie fishing and only managed to find a couple keepers but we did catch a few catfish and they ate quite nicely
