I was there last Wednesday and only caught 1 fish in 6 hrs. The water was crystal clear and the grass has choked off the spots I used to find fish in. I threw topwater early with no luck. I threw a chatterbait in some laydowns, a jig, a shakey head and finally caught a 2 pounder on a flat with a lipless crankbait in 7 ft of water. Since the grass has taken over my catch rate is way down. I'm going to have to figure out the grass or find a different lake
Fishingchamp is right....the grass is very thick. In some places there is 9 to 10 feet of water, but the grass was within 18 inches of the surface. I need to learn to fish the grass also. That stuff really puts a strain on the trolling motor. Good luck to you
thanks guys, when I go Ill let you know how we do
