Any thoughts on the suspension, I hope he will return soon. The Cards are going to have a tough time beating UK this year with out him.
I hate it. Not making excuses, but that kid's had a rough way to go. But he needs to step up. And hats off to Rick for doing the right thing.
I dont think Rick had anything to do with the suspension. He was kicked out of the dorm he was living in, and im gonna guess the school had more to do with the suspension than Rick did. I honestly hate UL basketball but I hope to see him back playing. If hos suspension i anything like Ricks injury estimations, he should be back 2-3 games into the season.
Louisville's chances of repeating as National Champions don't depend upon Behanan...but they are better with him than without. Louisville has plenty other talent though. Filling the Siva / Dieng hole will be the challenge.
All of that said, $10 says he's back by December 27.
He wasn't kicked out of the dorm by the school, Pitino made him move. It is Minardi Hall where the basketball players live and he was forced to move into another dorm and not live with the team. The suspension is from Jurich and Pitino.I dont think Rick had anything to do with the suspension. I figured Jurich was in on it, pitino might have suspended him a game or two, but the indefinite part came from above. I applaud UL for the move though, Behanen has an outside shot at a NBA career but will most likely become a normal member of society like the rest of us and obviously needs some guidance in his life
Im with splitshot though, i guarantee hes back before the UK game and it wouldnt surprise me if hes back a game or two earlier to get some conditioning
