Went to lake Sunday afternoon. Was a ok day. I should have been fishing for Ski instead of bass. Had one over, two slots and seven or eight dinks. Had a Muskie blast one of the dinks as I was skipping it back to boat. Had another 20-25" follow my jig back. Water is starting to turn black. Not sure why. Temp was 64 next to beach point and 67 at Claylick. Only good fish came off brush in 16' of water. Loads of small fish in grass being chased by Muskies. It may not be the best fishing right now, but it is a good time to see some big fish feed. Got to be in front row for multiple large Muskie feeding on 5-6" shad. They would blast thru school and one would skip out of the water and it was game on. He would chase it right on the surface for 20 feet and then crush it. I am not a fan of Ski but that makes your blood pump. I rigged my A-rig rod with the biggest spinnerbait I had and could burn it in top to look just like that shad. No luck on that either.
