Minnows at Settlers Trace

Is the gas station still open at Settlers Trace with minnows? How's the bite?

Yes bought them there on Thursday and we went up around van buren and didn't catch crap. My uncle went Friday and caught 20 keeper crappie down by the dam

Yeah we caught our in mouths of coves n creeks on main lake around dam. Just gotta keep moving, you will fish several trees befor you get one or two off a tree and every once n a while we found a tree that might have 10 on it. Just keep moving

I got minnows there Friday. We did decent. Got 8 keeper crappie in about 2 hours of fishing. Hoping to make it back in the next couple days.

was out sunday and only caught a few blue gill and a few small bass. No crappie but yes the gas station is where I bought my minnows, I'm also thinking on going this weekend and trying it again.... bbbbrrrrrr!

I actually prefer getting my minnows down at the store next to Moby ****. They seem to be in better shape and live longer.

Not really what I would consider "downtown". By Mobydick and Autozone. Across the street from the high school

Is that the place that has like a guns sign and used to have mulch in front for sale I think. Across from DQ!

yeah Drew that is it. He closes early everyday though. 5:30 on weekdays. Thats why I got the minnows at the gas station last Friday. I was late getting down there.
