Lake Shelby

I was out at Shelby and Bob (grounds keeper/manager) told me that a guy caught a 10 pound LM out there last week. I'd love to see a pic, thats my fav lake to fish from a yak. I've done well out there but no 10lb fish!

Are you allowed to put a boat with a bigger motor in it and just use your trolling motor only? I've been wanting to fish there but I have a 50 on my boat.

yes you can put a larger boat on Shelby Lake, go to KDFW and look up Shelby Lake

Fished Shelby today, the water was 47, dingy and the fish were hard to find. However, when we did find a school we hauled in 13 or so. It was a tuff day, the only bite I could get was on a 5" curly tail worm
In watermelon color.
