After last night, the 40-0 shirts are of no use, so they have donated them to a clothing drive to help third world countries.

I, for one, never thought UK would go undefeated. I think we'll have several losses. Maybe as many as 5 or 6. One of them could very well be to Louisville.

But, I do think we have a better than average chance of winning the National Championship again and whenever we're in that position, I'm fairly content with the team.

Here's my UL shot since you wanted to liven things up: I now realized why Pitino initially said that it would be a miracle for Behanan to return in mid-December. It was because he knew there was no way he could ever stand to keep him off the team for that long no matter what he did. I will say this was one of the longer "indefinite suspensions" he's managed to uphold, though.

I watched some of that UK game last night and UK learned one thing from that loss and that's that no national championship is just given to you because the media builds you up....still gotta play the game!! That being said they did pretty good all things considered.
Im sooooo glad baseball is over and we have football and basketball to watch!

UK will be good this year........hell, they should have been good last year.

BUT, it is pompous and ARROGANT to think that with two games played, that you can accurately or effectively project a national championship. ONLY a University of Kentucky fan is ARROGANT and pompous enough to do that.

They were fun to watch, but I tell you what, the Duke/Kansas matchup was a game........Kentucky/Michigan State was an education.

Anybody with a brain knew that Kentucky wasn't going to go 40-0. No way. The chance of that happening in this day and age is real slim. It's OK for a fan to dream...and 40-0 was a stretch of the imagination. Especially with a team of 18 year old kids. Michigan State is a great team with a hall of game coach that's all class...played wonderfully. I predicted State by 11. Seemed pretty obvious to me.

Kentucky got talented kids? Hell yes. They'll probably be in the hunt come March if things come together...but a hot handed team on any given night can end that. State, Kansas, Duke, Louisville, Kentucky, Arizona...any one of them could cut down the nets. Louisville has a great shot at a repeat, no doubt. Another team could jump up and make a run.

Kentucky was 3-1 odds last week when I was in Vegas at the sports book at Caesars Palace to win it all...and Vegas knows a thing or two about predicting. Some other teams had similar odds too though. Kentucky just gets a lot of press, mainly because of John Calipari.

Nobody said that UK fans aren't crazy. Are we arrogant too? Hell yes. There are probably no fans more arrogant and dilusionally crazy than Kentucky Basketball fans. But I'll tell you what...when your team, whomever that is, has the most all time NCAA wins, has 8 NCAA National Titles, can load 23K in your barn for a practice after camping out in the cold for a week, go ahead and walk with a little swag. You won't hear me calling you out on it.

Until then, just hate Kentucky. I'm OK with that. I love reading it. lol

Ha Ha now there is the TimT i have been missing....Good stuff guys, I love it. Behannon should not be part of this years UofL team, I was very against bringing his sorry a ss back and I still am. I am not fan of having punks on my team just to get wins. I laughed at that cross dressing gay boy Matt Jones when he went on and on about UK running the table. Nobody will ever run the table in college ball EVER again. When it happens I'll say I was wrong but it is not going to happen.

Saw an interview with his royalness on ESPN and lost count of how many times he said Me, Mine or I, LOL. If that guy got anymore full of himself he would explode, GOD he's OBNOXIOUS. UK fans are what they are some aren't like that. I think most of the UK fans on here keep it real and talk basketball with intelligence, not all that.....CATS BY 30 IS RICHIE PLAYING TANITE...

Julius Randle is a BEAST...........A complete ANIMAL. Maybe as skilled a big man as Cheatapari has ever had. Harrison twins are overrated and need some time. That one that said he was the next Michael Jordon needs to put the Bong down.

Chris Jones is a great addition and is going to be special.

It's wide open this year and so many good teams that someone not getting the media love may take the prize. I do not see UK cutting the nets again if I'm wrong I will admit...Too many freshmen, talent does not always trump experience despite what baby Jesus wanna be says.

Boom there it is!! I am not a die hard UK fan but pull for them 90% of the time and the above comments (without the details) is what the buzz of the UK alum in my office are excited about. So many positives can come out of a loss like this and heck one or two more won't kill them...if everyone is healthy on both teams the UL game is going to be awesome.
