Amen! I'm with you on this....I really do like Football but I'm not into 2 weeks of this junk. I wish it was one week between the championships to the Super Bowl. Same goes for any sport or division of college ball.

If I hear "#1 Offense vs #1 Defense", "Mannings Legacy", "Richard Sherman" or "The Legion of BOOM" one more time after today, I am going to puke up Gizzard Shad for days. I always hate these 2 weeks because how many past, present, future, dead and unborn NFL players does it take to say the same thing over and over. I get it, Manning falls to the worst QB to ever play the game if the Broncos lose but he replaces Montana as the Greatest to ever take a snap if the Broncos win today. I get it, "Primerime" wants your autograph after the game if the Seahawks win because Sherman is the greatest Cornerback to ever break up a pass and "Primetime" becomes Deion Sanders again. I get it, The Steel Curtain, The Bears 46, The Orange Crush, The Purple People Eaters all have to lose the nicknames and bow to the greatness of the Seahawks Defense because they are the best ever if Seattle wins today. But if they lose the "Legion of Doom" becomes the " Legion of Gloom" and they will be mentioned in the same sentence as the worst Defenses in the history of the game. Tee it up and Shut up!!! Tired of the hype!!!!

This just in, an Elnut exclusive:
Peyton Manning just took a healthy crap in the hotel bathroom. My sources tell me he named the outcome "Sherman". Peyton was heard yelling in the bathroom, "whose the man Richard? I'm the man!! Your nothing but a Mediocre Turd with Locks!! A sign was hung on the bathroom that read "Legion of Dump".
prolly heard "Omaha Omaha!" HahahaThis just in, an Elnut exclusive:

I like football too, but I just don't watch any of those shows during the 2 weeks (or ever anymore really). I just watch the games. Why do you watch if you dislike the analysis so much?
I don't watch the analysis but it impossible to miss when I am watching Sportscenter to get the low down on the rest of the sports world but every other topic has something to do with the game.
Now playing: Richard Sherman's 15 minutes of fame
An ESPN 30 for 30 original..........
I was just thinking recently that I basically never watch Sportscenter anymore. By the time they are on TV talking about stuff, it's all basically old news. I follow the Sportscenter twitter account and they post all the cool highlights and news, so I have no need to watch it anymore.
But even if I watched it during these 2 weeks, it HAS to be better than the 2 weeks or so of the Winter Olympics from Russia that are coming up. I don't think there's a single sport in the winter olympics that I would watch.
Not everyone has the time to follow Twitter religiously, but I understand where Elwood is coming from. Any moment I am in my car, my radio is tuned to sports talk radio and for two weeks, that is all the talk is the hype leading up to the Super Bowl. Makes it tough, especially when you are tuned to the local shows hoping to get some U of L/UK news. Not to mention that TV and radio usually end up being far more accurate than Twitter/Facebook.
No, but I guess they have time to watch hours and hours of Sportscenter when it's only giving them info they apparently despise.
My original point was - why watch it if you don't like it?
Heck - just go to the ESPN website and click on just the stuff you're interested in for that matter. Most of their stories come with an accompanying video so you don't even have to trouble yourself to read if you don't want to.
