Ok finally got my trout stamp and gave tom wallace a shot today since it's only about 10 minutes from me. the wind was pretty bad but most everyone was catching fish. I used some berkley trout bites in bright yellow on the bottom and came out with five keepers all 10+ inches. caught numerous 6-8in fish that i tossed back. also got a pretty nice catfish. I might try it again friday when the weather warms up and try for some bass. I was pleasantly surprised since it's been 6 or more years since i fished there and wasn't sure what to expect.
