Rankin Bottoms White Bass

Went down this weekend and caught one 19" hybrid but not much else. Seen a few small fish being caught, very few. Guy on a boat said the water temp was 60 on the surface. Anyone have a clue to what is going on? Have they already run or is the run late? I was in the water and it is plenty warm enough. Has anyone else done any good for whites?

Also, the water was full of gizzard shad. They were in the riffles and everywhere in between.

It has been hit or miss for me. Went down there two weeks ago and caught my limiit then went back after the snow and caughyt only some bluegillll. I was told they where set back due to the water being pulled too much in three days. Went yesterday and was two shy of my limit with two big hybrids. Went today in my boat and did not catch any so we started Crappie fishing and caught some nice white crappie. surface temp. was 68.7.
