    have the crappie spawned

    Have the crappie spawned in elkhorn yet i know at the small likes i go to they are but im just wondering if the elkhorn bite is gone for the spring

    I don't know about Elkhorn but I can tell you this,
    Taylorsville maxed out for me about 2 to 3 weeks ago.
    I got into the best crappie fishing then, did real good.
    It has been much slower in the last couple of weeks.
    I'm now starting to catch them more in deeper water again.

    One private lake i fish they was just now starting to be in the shallows like 6 inches to 4 ft and in the creek i caught them on brush in 3 ft imjust confused as to were they are on stoner but now stoner is flooded at 18 ft right now so ima go fish next satirday and sunday this one im working all weekend the water in stoner was 63 degrees all i was catching was 3 inch crappie and bass nothing with any size either species
