The bite today 4-30-14, was fantastic, found fish up near the spawning areas. Drifted L/B, when the wind let me, found fish most every place I tried. I put 7 solid fish in the boat several bumping 19/20 inch mark. Another live bait boat put 14 fish in the boat (glad they gave me a call to get out there). Saw 65 water temp around Huffaker, I tried to stay where the bait would just tick the grass but not foul the bait. Pics later

Back to the same bite as yesterday (today). Only difference. I couldn't. Drift. so fished on the bottom, Used live bait, Throwing it. In over 20ft. Inside points just to get out of the wind, with the recent rain. A little more stain. Near state park area. 63/64 temp. 7 good SM. This morning. Starting to get those football body style fish. What I did find. When I caught fish in an area. I would try a different area, Could come back. An get. The bite back. So. For those using. LB, you. Can. Get some numbers with some patience.
