The bite for small mouth is and has been steady for me over a week now. Putting fish in the boat at most every area close too the flats. Had 69.9 yesterday near lilly Dale, water has some stain for Dale. Spoke with the creel survey boat yesterday, an he told me the swim bait was working well. He knows I use live bait figured I too was having some success. I drifted live Bait over a smooth soft bottom with thin grass, keeping in a depth range of about 12-18 ft, most fish came from the deeper end. Also couple nice LM.

Keeping the bait where I could feel the bait in an out of the thin grass. Nothing much about the bank deep water was near, not any contour changes where I was.
