But I thought of this off topic discussion board and the people that deny that Global Warming is real and that it's created by man's burning of Fossil Fuels.

Like I said I've not reviewed it so I'm just posting a link to it. But I did see where a guy with a lot of money is going to start delivering some information to the people to help counter the false information being spread by the Fossil Fuel Money Folks. I personally think that's a good idea. Getting the truth out there is always a good idea.

Well you would think its a good idea since its just another smear campaign against anyone who doesn't agree with all the gloom and doom. They are targeting Republicans and like the article states this is being done to get Democrats in/keep the Senate seats.

This is the problem for me all along....it's politics and nothing more. Look at Bill on the video, he is a pompous ass who is ready to attack and even spouts some so called facts but the other guy disputes it and Bill gets ready to pounce again even though he was proven wrong!!! Again and again the democrats who want to promote this out of proportion movement and try every angle to get the funds and tie these funds to their candidates for getting more power.

Shorter and Warmer Winters was on the crawl at the beginning of the video and I wonder what place they were talking about? Think about this...global warming radicals include tornadoes, hurricanes, droughts, floods, wet winters, cold winters, blizzards, crime, racism, economic problems, movement of bugs, sex issues and the many other problems I can't think of right now being caused by Global Warming. Ohhh and if the Democrats don't keep the Senate then Global Warming will be blamed for that as well.

Man has been fighting nature since recorded times. Sometimes good sometimes bad. Call it what you will, but pictures of California, and the upper mid west will show things are changing.It's foolish to believe that we are not causing some problems. I agree bad things have been around since we started keeping records and even before for that matter. We get a hurricane now and its because of global warming. We get the hurricane forecast at the start of the season and they always say something like..."well this will be a bad year because of el nino...with a major storm hitting the USA and we fear it could be more". Well I'm pretty sure anyone on here could forecast that and if your wrong it's no big deal just guess again next year.

Do we as humans have an impact on our environment? Yes, I will agree to that. Look at our rivers, look at the smog in china, California, Colorado and Arizona and it's easy to see. Runoff from fertilizer into streams, rivers and lakes are killing many lakes. Lake Apopka and the Harris Chain of Lakes in Central Florida are perfect examples of what can happen. Its sad but Lake Apopka is still in rough condition and it was one of the best lakes when I was growing up.

I wonder when we will stop using so many chemicals on the roads in the winter months? All that runs into the water ways and has an effect. I know they are trying to reduce the chemicals or use chemicals with less impact on the environment but man I don't see it here in lexington. If a forecast comes in of a dusting from a storm you will see 50 salt trucks running the roads!

You and the other non believers have yet to say any thing to get a neutral 3rd party to not believe in the Major National Science Organizations LIKE NOAA when they tell us that Global Warming is real!

All you do is puff up and shout the Fixed news Party line which is totally untrue and vastly unbelievable.

All the major networks beside Fixed News tell us that Global Warming is real. Even the US Navy Brass thinks this yet you can't say anything to discount that our own US Navy thinks that Global Warming is real. The Navy has the job of protecting this country from Russian Nuclear Submarines and their nuclear missiles that can now get closer to our shorelines due to the ice melting at and around the North West Passage due to global warming.

Fox news?? It was CNN and of all the experts on the panel it had Van Jones another trustworthy mouth that will spout your alarmist mantra. Remember him? he was forced to resign from his Obama appointed position for remarks he made?? Another trusting face and character on CNN...and that's who we are supposed to believe? I have said it time and time again....I do not watch news anymore. I read about it or listed to it on NPR while travelling. I have not watched Fox news in who knows how long.....So again because someone doesn't swallow the hook, line and sinker like you they are a Fox News junkie? Your about as believable as Al Gore. Maybe if you send him some money he will send you a signed copy of his latest book? Speaking or Radio and TV. The link I posted to the CNN show Crossfire was about all the negative propaganda that's been put out on Radio and TV by the Right Wing Extremist in the Fossil Fuel Industry. People like the Koch Brothers have spent millions of dollars on false TV and Radio propaganda and false stories in the news papers. They took the initiative and got their side of the story out in a massive way. They have billions of dollars to play with and will spend millions to ensure that we stay on Fossil Fuel Based Energy Economy for the next 100 years or more (for as long as possible) so that they can continue to make more money and keep their billions. Because once the people see that alternative energy can full fill a lot of our energy needs we won't need to spend billions of dollars on polluting fossil fuels and the Koch Brother's profits will shrink. They are not about to let that happen.

We could easily start to fund alternative fuels and get off coal and oil as much as possible. We can't get rid of fossil fuels entirely just yet but we can start to limit their use by switching to some alternative energy resource today and not wait until we run out of coal or oil.

I personally think that Fuel Cell Technology is the future. And Al Gore has nothing to do with Fuel Cells.

He is better off just talking about his fishing up in the Canadian Wilds where it's pristine. He like the Pristine wilderness a lot. So do I. Which is one reason I feel we need to cut back on the amount of coal we burn.

We have way too many people in this world today. And if we don't cut back on our pollution and our own population nature will do it for us in the long term. There will be much more cancer and heart disease and diabetes in the future. Wait a second. That's already happening. Even the Chinese are smart enough to realize that the worlds human population is over the carrying capacity of the earth.

One day we will probably all be killed or wiped out by nuclear war as we continue to fight over the last remaining resources on the earth. China, Vietnam, Japan and Korea are all fighting over areas in the South China Sea right now.

And to think that they all joined together to fight the USA when we invaded Vietnam. They were all friends back them. I guess the enemy of your enemy is your friend? Now they are all just back to being enemies again. What are they fighting for or about? Oil Resources at the bottom of the South China Sea. When the oil gets even more scarce and it will then what will they all do? Anyone that can't see this coming is blind. I don't know how long the oil will last but eventually it will all be gone.

You see we do know that it was not made over night. Our best minds teach us that oil and coal took millions of years to form deep in the earth under high heat and high pressure conditions. And that it was made from the decaying plant material that grew during the time of the Dinosaurs 65 million years ago. We will run out of economically reliable coal someday. And that day is approaching at a faster rate now that China is industrializing more and more. They are burning up the coal faster than ever before in the history of the Earth. Well the known history. Who really knows.
