SO i got the lower unit fixed on the ole Hydrasports fixed today ! My buddy who is a car mechanic did the job I was given and old lower unit and used most of the parts from it ..I had to but the bearings the roller bearing and the one that looks like a wheel bearing for a little trailer . And i had to buy a new oil seal ....i have known this dude since I was 13 and he only charged me $30 ...I made him take $40 !!! If I took it back to precision Marine it woulda been $900 easy . Gonna test it tomorrow and then Stripers beware ...thanks to Bent Loomis (don) for taking me in his boat while mine was down

I may test it on the upper pool before I take it to the Falls and whip up on the line sides . I have caught a few sauger on those striper baits which may be an excellent sigm that they are ready to start their thang .See you at the Falls I will be in a Brown & Orange HYDRASPORTS
