    Laws

So lets start a barn burner. Are laws meant to save or impede? Restrict or guarantee? No matter what happens one rulealways applys the Golden rule.

Not exactly sure what your asking but laws are enacted so as to allow us to coexist as a civilized society... It seems there are those who think anarchy would be better it seems laws mean nothing to them... Nobody follows the golden rule, most simply reinvent it...

    the golden rule

Ypou got the gold, you make the rule. Usery, In the 50s the feds started cracking down on organized crime, and usery was a weapon they used. Now banks are allowed to use it to some extent, to make risky loans. thats what caused the last problem we are working our way out of. Legal, but not ethical schemes are being used again to [prey on the least able to afford it. For example,a 3 yearold car at a fantastic price, low miles, great shape, low down payment annual % rate 16. And it was a flood car. Bought and paid for twice, and back on the market. Is this legal? sure, is it right?

Right/wrong.... isn't a legal issue, a hand full of people, you will get a hand full of opinions of whats right or wrong.. A few years ago during the housing boom, A fella I know worked for a brokerage writing home loans knowing the people could not possible fulfill the contract... The firm had no problem dong this because their parameters for the loans came from the loan institutions making the loans and seemingly the loans were being traded around among other firms and eventually landed on the federal government.... Everybody made money up the line and the tax payers took the hit... Sounds like a scheme to me but I doubt those who created it were work-a-day folks like you and me... Wall street drives this country but it is so full of corruption its amazing it can survive yet the blame for all our countries ills is aimed at the folks on the other end of the scale... We vote for those whom we think best represents our personal feeling about whats right or wrong and our country reflects those decisions... There actually is no right or wrong, there is only legal and illegal..
