Shimano Sahara is better built at the same price range. Reels with fewer but higher quality bearings will stay smooth longer.

Looking for input on the Mitchell 308 Pro spinning reel. Played around with one the other day but didn't fish with it. Felt smooth and I've read some good reviews (but I don't always trust big website reviews). Seemed like a good reel for the money. Wanted to know if anyone else uses one.

I have two and have no problem. For the price work well...mostly use these for small hair jigs and shaky head.
No complaints, smooth, and have pulled some nice sized smallies and green bass in with them. I'm a Shimano fan and I'm sure the previous threads recommendations are good as well.
My 2 cents worth![]()
