    It was a good day on the Ohio

    The river is finally looking good again.

    Nice fish! Water is finally starting to look good. Sunday and again Monday we caught lots of crappie black and white on Ohio. Fish way up shallow within a foot of the bank. Hopefully get a few weeks of good fishin...awesome fish and good luck

    Great looking fish. The river has finally settled down from the floods. Water temp in the Louisville pool is 70 degrees. With the 80 plus temps this we it will be spawn time quickly.

    I think I saw you yesterday, I was with my son in the older white boat
    out from you.
    Was that you in the Kayak?
    way to go!
    We didn't catch anything in the duck pond but
    my son caught a blue cat about 10 lbs
    down by the locks.
    We caught a lot of skipjacks down at the power plant.

    No I wasn't in a kyak. I was in my 14ft Jon boat. Heading there now. Hopefully I can find some more biggins. Pics might be a challenge today as I will be solo for the better part of the day. I'll at least post how it went.

    It was a good day. The size of the fish were smaller than Monday, but the number of fish made up for it. At one point, we had double hook ups on back to back to back casts. It was great till we had a boat come in and run right up on the fish, right where we were casting. That's another thread.

    Just throw that 1 OZ ledhead across the front deck and scoop some pole off HA HA
