    KY Lake - The Moors

I have been invited to fish KY Lake this weekend for Bluegill, Redear and Catfish. We are staying near The Moors and we will be launching there. I am familiar with Lake Barkley. However, KY - not so much. Are there any general areas anyone can share as a good starting point?

A caught a few nice sized Redear's not too far from there a couple of summers ago. If you head out to the main lake going south go about 1 1/2 miles south of the island to the second cove on your right.

    Good luck

Thanks guys! I will let you know how I do as long as thunderstorms don't keep me off the water...

Thanks for your suggestions guys. We tore 'em up this weekend. The redear and bluegill are definitely on the beds! We caught some cats too. We had 5 one gallon bags of fillets for three days of fishing.

Glad that you had a good time and some good success. I'm curious did you make it over to that cove I had mentioned, any luck there if you did?

We did make it over to the cove. It definitely helped put fish in the livewell.
