I fished there last year. I'm far from an expert on the lake and I was targeting crappie as that's what I most love to fish for...

Very small crappie. Smallest average I've probably ever had. So I probably won't go back soon. Anyway - caught a few decent bass at that time. I hear it is a really good bass lake for it's size and I can believe that. Just weren't really targeting them.

One thing: the ramp is really tight. There's a little store up on the hillside and the ramp is below with a small dock there. You put in and drive up top to park the trailer. I have a pretty small boat and was not alone so I did fine. But someone by themselves with a large boat might need to take their time.

i have been there twice & got blanked both time.

As soon as you launch there is a culvert that goes under the road. Another part of the lake is through there. Have done good there on a good day.
