Places to stay near Barren.... Any suggestions?

Check out the lodge at the state park. I checked into their rates and it seemed pretty reasonable.

I've heard that the state park lodge is nice, but I've never been there.

Several good places to stay...

State Park is really nice and a good location.

The two hotels by Shoney's - Days Inn and I forgot the other one are good too, but they are in glasgow so you have a bit of a drive.

Although I have never stayed at these, I know several guys that have... The bed and breakfast right outside of glasgow on your way to lake and there is also a bed and breakfast close to the narrows. Both are fisherman friendly.

I have also stayed at the hotel it Scottsville, it has changed names a few times. It's ok. The cheapest of them all, but not as nice.

I typically stay at the state park. Recently we discovered their cottages are priced really good and sleep several.
