Black Friday Open Tourny on Green River Lake.

We will be having the annual Black Friday on Green the day after Thanksgiving. Will be taking out of Lone Valley Ramp at safelight. The past few years we've had 20-30 boats. This is an open tourny so everybody is invited. Payback will be 100% and we look forward to seeing you there

Thanks to everybody that came out, we wound up with 23 boats and perfect weather. The results are

1st-Lane/Sutherland-21.62
2nd-Squires/Wright-19.33
3rd-Trimble/Hill-16.93
Big Fish-Pointer/Pointer-6.44

We had a ton of big fish weighed in and a lot of very solid bags. Roughly 10 fish over 5lbs and nearly a third of the field weighed over 15lbs.

Gets guys just a quick note and I am not complaining so don't get offended. This was a good tournament with a good turn out but I just wished someone would had told us 6 fish limit, we culled two fish over 2# and never was told 6 fish, with most tourneys being 5 fish that is the one rule everybody needs to know. We finished 4th with 16.02 had a great day, this partially is our fault as well for not asking but we did enjoy and plan on being back next year....thanks guys

You are correct, i should have posted it on here. I tried to go iver the rules with everybody but had a lot of people coming up to enter all at the same time. We took over running the tourny at the ramp last year because the guys who always ran it didnt show up. If anybody knows anybody else that would like to run it while not keeping a dime and paying full entry to fish have them contact me, id be glad to let them take over. We tried to keep the same rules and format theyd been using for the last 20 years

I wasn't trying to say you needed to step down or anybody else needed to take over...I think you guys did a great job running the tourney just wish I knew that it was a 6 fish tourney...Again, partially my our fault as well...Sorry you took it the wrong way, thanks again
