Fish for a couple hours this morning found 55 degree water, using LB kept the bait in 30 ft plus range.
Lake is clear, after a couple days of rain lake came up a couple feet (according to dock hands)
Stayed near the state dock and focused on the main lake points near Lilly an Trooper

Don't think he goes outside when it's colder than 50

I've spent my fair share of 10 degree days on Dale Hollow...........
I have not been in Jan or Feb in a while, but not because I don't want to......I simply optimize my time on the water and fish December, and then take Jan and Feb off so I can MURDER the fish at KY lake in the spring....

We all understand a miserable day on the water for sure, miserable conditions an fish that won't bite.
Maybe that's what makes the reward of finding fish on those days more special for me.
With today's warm weather gear that part is manageable.
Living here takes the travel issue out for me, Personally boating the fish isn't the reward, it's putting together a strategy that works.
Yesterday Ist stop, had to stop. I fished a place I would never winter fish. Put 6 fish in the boat as quick as one could
Part of the package of winter fishing you never know.
