cumberland/lost rod and reel

Lost a rod and reel on Cumberland, how long will the combo last under water before I need to give up hope. It was only in about 9 FOW, hoping when the water goes down I can find it. Kistler rod and a Curado reel.

I lost one of my favorite rigs (high end gear like yours) on a lake while in my float tube at night . About 3 weeks later back went back with a buddy of mine and his dive gear.It took him a little while to find it but up he came.After a little cleaning you would have never known it had spent 3 weeks under water.
If you know anyone who dives they always like a challenge.
