I bought a Helix 7 si today and am willing to pay someone to help me with understanding what i am seeing on my screen. I am new to the fish finder world and dont understand alot about what im looking at. Im in central ky area but would be willing to travel if your willing to teach me

try watching different, how to video's on youtube, they can be a big help to you..

Look up dr sonar on the web. He has DVDs He covers many different units. I called him and he recommended a Dvd a few yrs ago. It was packed with info.

Google Doug Varenburg, and watch his Humminbird videos on youtube, he will teach you a lot. He also frequents a fishing related web site (Sorry Peter...fishin.com is a great site too) that has very busy discussion forums on Lowrance and 'Bird finders.
