Why only two trips? Seemed like you enjoyed going there a lot?

I just got back from a few days at Barkley. I didn't want to get the boat out yet but did get the kayak out yesterday for a little bit. It was a beautiful day the water ended up hitting 59 but I didn't have a lot of luck catching that many fish. I caught a real nice 1 1/2 pound white bass and a decent sized drum that had me fooled it was a largemouth at first but those were the high points and everything else was small. Was still nice to get out for the first time this year. Sunday was much too windy to even think about getting out in the kayak so I only fished the one day. It was crazy windy.

Oncall most of the month of April, so that is out.......and I'm going to be extremely busy in March with renovations in my downstairs.

I might make a couple trips in May, but I'm taking my nephew to Quetico again and told his parents I'd pick up most of it so it ensures he can go......

    .

    Later,

    Geo

That's nice of you; that's what uncles are for

Maybe some time we could hook up together at Barkley for a couple of days. I got a place down there now so it wouldn't cost you anything other than your gas down so it wouldn't throw your fishing budget off much for you bigger trip with your nephew. I just have to pick and choose when based on how my back is feeling since I have a lot of trouble with it and it affects how active I sometimes can be.

SLP I fought back problems most of my life. I had a Physical Therapist get me walking on a tread mill and doing stretching exersises five days a week and it has made me a free man. I don't know if it would work for you but couldn't hurt to find out.

    I know the agony
