Good spots in and around Pulaski Co. Park in Fishing Creek. Can also access bank fishing at the old Alligator 2 Dock in back of Wolf Creek. There are other spots but those should be good this time of year for crappie, bluegill and bass.

I am bringing my 3 boys down to the lake for Spring Break in two weeks. We fish mainly in smaller lakes and ponds so Cumberland looks a little intimidating however they want to go. I assume fishing from a boat is the only option? If not where would there be a spot to fish from a bank or spotsomething along the river or inlets?

Without getting too specific, you may have some luck finding chunk rock, points, and casting medium-sized, medium-depth crankbaits along them. It can definitely be an intimidating body of water, but there are definitely fish in there, and they're willing to bite, and they're big.
You can fish from the bank below the dam. Watch the generation schedule and search the past threads here for what is a safe flow and what gets hairy.
