Cumberland Trip 3/12 and 3/13

Went to the river below wolf creek dam Saturday morning on a guided trip with Lance Sasser. Started out jig fishing and caught some walleye and sauger and a bunch of skipjack. Then when they finally turned on the generators the fishing was awesome. Much thanks to him for the good time. Went on the lake Saturday afternoon looking for crappie fishing minnows 15 ft deep around submerged trees and brush piles with no luck but caught many nice bluegill and a couple small smallmouth. Sunday morning got up at 4 to catch shad and ripped my net on the first throw. Got my other net out, only managed to catch three shad. Got some shiners and headed towards the creeks. Caught 1 26 inch striper and a couple bass trolling. All in all a good weekend.

That is a beautiful trout. I've never fished with Lance but from what I gather he knows how to slay the trout this time of year.

What was them eyes biting on below the dam

We caught them on jigs tipped with minnows but that was with no generators running. And yes Lance knows his stuff. I wouldn't go with anyone else nothing against the other guides just my personal preference
