Went out on Shelby Lake in my kayak yesterday. Tried everything... texas rig, crankbaits, topwater, chatterbait, wacky senkos without any success. Then finally tied on a finesse carolina rig (I believe some call it mojo rig or even split shot rig) and had some success way back in the upper portion of lake, dragging and hopping it in the middle of the channel on the bottom. Sun started getting close to the horizon and they stopped biting it. Wish I would have tied it on earlier!!
