Went friday/saturday.

I left after work with a couple buddies that really needed to get out. We managed to catch 31 "dogwood" bass on Friday in the grass on small swimbaits, senkos, and frogs. Talk about a BLAST.

Saturday, we only fished a few hours, but still managed to catch fish. 13 or 14, I think.

Again, mostly all were dogwood fish.

I did talk to a buddy who was down there, and he managed to find a decent sized school of 2lb bass and knocked the fire out of them. He said him and his wife caught a bunch on Saturday, while trying to stay on top of this school. Said he had at least a bag or so of solid keepers.

I'm surprised the weeds were not worse, but from what I understand they recently sprayed.

Something else. While I know the bluegill and redear are off the next, or most are, I found quite a few beds with what looked like bedding gills or redear.......THAT was cool...
