Im only getting power to half the wiring harness coming from my truck.
Could be a ground issue on ur truck or a wiring issue with ur truck harness and its connections to the tail lights.
Any splice with a crimp on connector only lasts so long exposed to elements, the kind with shrink wrap last a little longer. Once a wire is cut and spliced under a auto it will fail eventionally. Cut wires twisted with black tape is good for 30 miles or 30 minutes whichever comes first.
