Knoxville Expo tackle and boat show

We visited this show over the weekend and it was packed with custom rods and baits. A few boat dealers were there and it was actually pretty nice. What struck me was the cost of the boats! One triton that had electronics out the yingyang was 97k!of course the boat show special was 72k. I’m sorry but that’s off the charts (pun inented) out of line. I guess lenders will finance these bassboats for 25 years now so people can afford them.
I never thought I would say the Rangers were priced lower and more reasonable than the Triton but they were. Even saying that is crazy....the top shelf Rangers were still higher than 60k......Not this dude! So people actually finance these boats and maybe 60k truck so they can go fish like the pros. More power to them......merica’! Gotta love it! 😋👍🏻

Agree , the prices of these boats are crazy, that's why you wait 4 to 5 years and buy it used, these guys spend that much it becomes there baby and let them take the nut on the depreciation and get yourself a sweet newer ride for a lot less.

I recently purchased a used 16ft Grizzly Jon Boat for fishing the small lakes and creeks around here. I can scratch it, bump it into trees beach it on rocks and never have to be concerned with the looks of it. I just like it that way.
Nice big pretty expensive boats are wonderful to fish out of and I don’t knock someone who buys one but it’s not for me. I’ll get into a bigger boat again but I can assure you beyond a shadow of a doubt that it won’t be a new 100k boat!
