They are only another tool, we need one from Time to time, i’ve Had guns sense I was a young boy, I remember shooting a shotgun, before I could hold one up strait by myself, older family members would let us smaller boys shoot the shotguns, just to laugh at us when the gun knocked us down, use one to hunt with most of my life, I don’t hunt any more but own two Browning target pistols, I enjoy target practice with my wife and daughter, in my opinion if i’m Hunting I only need one shot to kill an animal, and when target shooting, one shot at a time, I’m for any sane person owning as many guns as they want to buy, but I would be for banning fully automatic weapons, I just don’t see a need for them.

Fully Automatic weapons require a FFL license, and a gigantic wad of cash. Personally, I don't know many who fit that bill.

And getting a Federal Firearms License ain't that easy...........Now if you mean an AR's or SKS's or AK's, those that are available the the civilian market are semi automatic......

    Finally........

These two guns look practically the same......1 is a .22lr plinking/squirrel rifle. The other is a weapon of war........

People kill other people........if you ban the AR, and the AK, they will find something else.

Never saw a gun get up by itself and shoot some one. It's always due to a careless person who toys with the gun and shoots someone. The guns don't shoot people. People do.

my understanding is the 2nd was designed to protect the people from the government.
only problem is, i can't buy RPGs, tanks, mortars, F22s, etc. etc.
could gun owners with their simple rifles(semi or full auto) really do enough to stop tyranny?

I have a F.I.D. card, so you can guess where I stand, this anti gun B.S. is getting out of hand. People kill people, end of discussion in my opinion. Now remember the 2nd amendment when written, all guns were military grade, there was no difference from hunting or just shooting.

Everyone should have the right to firearms

That has been my stand since I got my first gun. Mental health is BS, if you're poor you're crazy, if you're rich you're eccentric.Cars kill more people than anything else. And crazy people drive cars.

I don't consider myself pro gun because I believe there are people who should not be gun owners. I don't consider myself anti gun because I believe that law abiding citizens with a sound mind should have the right to be a gun owner. The problem is a bat crap crazy person can by one and you would never know they're intention. A gun is an inanimate object that will not harm anyone. It will sit perfectly still until a person touches it and pulls the trigger. With people having so many variables it will be hard to regulate who should own a gun and who should not own a gun. You can label me pro or anti but I don't really think I fall in either category because I agree and disagree with things on both sides. All I do know for sure is guns do not kill by themselves so it has to be the person pulling the trigger so I guess the big question for me is how do we determine if a person is going to be a good gun owner or a bad gun owner.

I agree with you, guns don't do anything by them selves. Did you ever consider how hard it would be to judge anyones mental condition? There" no one size fits all".Either an individual has rights or they don't.
