I am taking my boss out on Taylorsville this afternoon. It will be the first time I have taken him out and I figured fishing hybrid was probably the best bet to put fish in the boat for his skill level. Has any one caught any hybrids at Taylorsville lately? Yes I know there are better places to take someone, but we are limited by time and distance so Taylorsville it is. Any help would be appreciated.

Trolling a crankbait with a jig trailing on a 12-18" leader line is how I've caught most of my Hybrids & White Bass, in recent years. Trolling a #5 Shadrap has produced, in the past. If you're there late enough, there may be some evening jumps to cast to. Roadrunners, Silver Buddy's, float-n-fly, or "plunker & fly" rigs should get you some hits ... if you can get to the jumps quick enough. ......... luck2ya ... cp
